Unit pricing Merchant Center expects
Google requires unit price data for many measure-based products. Unit Measures makes it practical to set at catalogue scale.
Certain products on Shopping ads and free listings in the EU, EFTA countries, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand must show a unit price under local regulations — and require the unit_pricing_measure attribute. That includes products sold by weight, volume, length, or area.
-
Feed Merchant Center unit pricing
Write unit_pricing_measure and unit_pricing_base_measure from Shopify so measure-based products stay eligible for Shopping ads and free listings.
-
Edit hundreds of variants at once
Select variants, set quantity and base unit, and save. No clicking through products one by one in the Shopify admin.
-
Use Shopify’s native unit price
Writes unitPriceMeasurement and showUnitPrice so price-per-unit can show on your storefront the way Shopify intends.
-
Keep metafields in sync
Mirrors values into variant metafields (defaults: custom.unit_measure and custom.base_unit_measure) for themes, feeds, and apps.
-
Find what’s missing fast
Filter by set, missing, ignored, product type, tags, or unit type so you can close gaps before Merchant Center flags them.
-
Support real product units
Weight, volume, length, area, and count — from sqm and metres to litres, kilograms, and packs.
Simple setup.
- 1
Install Unit Measures and sync your Shopify catalogue.
- 2
Filter to variants missing unit measures — flooring, cable, paint, and other weight, volume, length, or area products.
- 3
Set unit quantity and base measure in bulk, then save. Native unit pricing and metafields update together for your storefront and Merchant Center feed.
